Our mission is to inspire children's personalities through music and drama and to provide students with professional music education opportunities for all ages.

Mrs. Verse's MusicLand

Gloria has over 25 years of experience as a private music instructor teaching students of various levels of music theory, vocals as well as musical instruments such as the piano, guitar, violin, and flute. Through effective coaching, Gloria’s students are motivated to pass the Royal Conservatory Examinations. Most of her music students have received or exceeded a score of 90%.

Gloria graduated from Sonoma State University with a bachelor’s degree in Music Performance. She also has a degree in Piano Performance from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM).

To ensure Gloria stays up to date in the world of musical productions, she attends New York’s Broadway Music Director’s Seminar each year while constantly keeping up to date with her production background knowledge through the Music Theatre International and Broadway Media Distribution agencies.

In addition,

Gloria is an accomplished performer on piano.

She has taught at Purple Lotus international institutes in Union City and served as the summer program music director of the summer institutes from 2001 -2003.

Gloria began working with St. Rose Catholic School in 2012 as the Director of their Performing Arts program. In that capacity, she selected, prepared, and successfully launched the following Broadway musical productions: Charlie Brown (2012), Aladdin Jr.(2013), Sound of Music Review (2014), Beauty and the Beast Jr.(2015), Mary Poppins Review(2016), The Lion King Jr. (2017) and Annie Jr. (2019).

During the pandemic, Gloria enlivened the school and community culture with virtual productions for holidays and other special occasions.
